  26.     We have installed Kermit on a Novell server and would like our users
  27. to be able to run it from the server (without installing it locally).
  28. This works, but with the configuration files on the server, users cannot
  29. change screen colour, etc.  I have written a batch file that copies
  30. dialusr.dat and the *.usr files to the user's home directory on the
  31. server.  In the dial.scr file, I have commented out the line " if exist
  32. \v(startup)\%a.usr take \v(startup)\%a.usr " and replaced it with "take
  33. f:\\users\\mcbean\\teca/\%a.usr" (I would actually like to use DOS
  34. environment variables instead of f:\\users\\mcbean but that is not my
  35. concern at the moment).  Kermit does access the *.usr file on the user's
  36. account, like I had expected.  However, if I change the terminal colour
  37. for an entry, for example, the dialusr.dat file that is being changed is
  38. still the one on the server, not the one on the user's account.  How do
  39. I get Kermit to commit these changes to the user's dialusr.dat file and
  40. not the server's?
